Directions to Henderson Mine from DIA

Physical address:  1746 County Road 202, Empire, CO 80438 (map)

• Take I-70 west to Exit 232 (approximately 70 miles)
• You will go approximately 1/2 mile or so until the small town of Empire (watch out - it's a speed trap!)
• Continue on highway 40 approximately 9 miles until you reach Berthoud Falls (small little spot in the road w/ a few cabins)
• You will see a green highway sign on the right side of the road that says "Henderson Mine" with an arrow pointing left.
• Turn left
• Continue on this road approximately 2 miles.  Watch your odometer because you don't want to turn before you have gone 2 miles
• You will then reach the gate to the property. 
• Call the number shown on the gate and tell them you are here for the HUSEP Meeting
  
  • Once you go through the gate you take a left and find yourself going up a slight incline
  • Take a right where the sign points to the Main Office Building
  • You will reach our large parking lot first
  • Continue on heading west until you get to the back of the building where you will see a smaller parking lot
  • This is the main entrance to our building - park anywhere and go in through the double glass doors
• Sign in at the front desk and the receptionist.
