K2K Workshop 2004: Social Events

1. Workshop Dinner: Sep. 16, Thursday, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The Workshop Dinner with a live jazz ensemble will be held at the Port Jefferson Country Club. Companions are welcome to join the banquet for $34/person fee. (Fee for Children under 12 is $17.) Vans will leave the Wang Center at 6:20 PM for the Port Jefferson Country Club.

2. Yankees - Redsox Baseball Game: Sep. 17, Friday, 7:00 PM - 10:00 AM

A limited number of tickets are available for this game between these two storied teams, New York Yankees and the Boston Redsox. The rivalry between these two teams are regarded as the biggest in all professional sports in the U.S. A chartered bus will leave the Wang Center around 4 PM for Yankee Stadium. The game starts at 7 PM, and we are expected to be back at Stony Brook around midnight. Make your request for the tickets using the workshop registration forms.

3. Broadway Show "Producers": Sep. 19, Sunday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

A limited number of tickets are available for this Tony award winning and one of the most popular broadway shows. Vans will leave local hotels around 12:00 noon for the theater in Manhattan. Make your request for the tickets using the workshop registration forms.

4. Companion Program: Sep. 16 - 18

Depending on the demand, a companion program can be arranged for the companions. This could include a tour of Stony Brook/Three Village area, a trip to the east end of Long Island (East and South Hamptons, wineries, etc.), and a trip to Manhattan.
