Note: Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, like blue jeans and a sweatshirt. The sweatshirt is good for warmth. Also please wear hiking or construction boots (steel toed if they have them).

Directions:
Take I-70 west out of Denver. After passing Idaho Spring start looking for the exit for US 40. Take US 40 about ten miles past the town of Empire and look for the Henderson Mine sign. Bear left after the sign and come on up to the gate. If closed follow the instructions and call to get it open. Turn left after the gate and follow the signs to the main office building.
