The Workshop Dinner will
be held at the Champeaux French restaurant located in
the Keystone Lodge.
Companions are welcome to join the dinner for $40/person fee.
(Fee for Children under 12 is $15.)
2. The Henderson Mine Tour: Oct. 16, Saturday,
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
A limited number of seats are available for this tour of the Henderson mine,
which is proposed as a DUSEL (Deep Underground Science and Engineering
Lab) candidate site.
The tour will start at 9AM, and will end around 11:30AM time.
The tour partcipants should arrive at the mine by 8:45AM.
Make your request for a seat using the workshop registration
form.
The Henderson mine, which is located at Empire, Colorado,
is on the way to Keystone from Denver.
Empire is 43 miles straight west from the Denver Airport and it takes about
one hour to get there from the airport, mostly on I-70W.
It takes about 45 minutes from Keystone to Henderson in the
direction of the airport.
